[Attempted] Audio blogging from the iPhone

Update: Well. That didn’t work so well. Although blogging by e-mail did. Sorta.

iPhone Update 1.02

Just got the newest update, and one of my peeves was fixed: The calendar icon now shows the proper day and date. Yay!

Not fixed: The fact the “piano riff” and “blues” ringtones are labeled bass ackwards.

Status unknown: Random Safari crashes; Music stops playing after a minute or so when browsing with Safari.

I was telling a friend tonight that the iPhone is quite possibly the coolest piece of tech gadgetry I’ve ever owned.

Yeah, Sorry. More iPhone.

If you’re getting sick of the iPhone posts…sorry. I’m just now getting to all the cool other things one can do with an iPhone. Such as: adding an SSH daemon. I’ll let you know how that works out.

Some things that I’d like to see on the iPhone:

  • The ability to record voice memos
  • A real VNC client would be nice
  • The ability to access a file storage area to directly store files on the iPhone
  • The ability to sync to more than one iTunes library. I want to sync movie, calendar and contact info on my laptop, but sync music on my iTunes/music server.
  • Update: A “to do” list. Seriously? There’s no “to do” list? There’s no to do list.
